1. About BOLKAR

2. What we provide

BOLKAR runs live, trainer-led English speaking cohorts delivered online over video conferencing. A cohort consists of 32 live sessions of 60 minutes each, delivered in small groups over approximately two months.

Current programmes:

  • Spoken English Cohort — ₹4,499
  • Complete English Cohort — ₹6,499

Programme content, structure, and session sequence may be adjusted by the trainer to suit the needs of a particular batch.

3. Batches and scheduling

Batches begin on announced start dates. Session timings are confirmed with each batch before it begins and are communicated directly by the trainer. Timings, dates, and schedules may change; we will inform enrolled learners in advance of any change.

4. Demo sessions

We offer a free one-on-one demo session of approximately 30 to 40 minutes before enrolment. The demo is intended to assess your current level and help you choose the right programme. Attending a demo does not reserve a seat in any cohort.

5. Enrolment and eligibility

  • You must be able to understand basic English to benefit from the programme.
  • You must provide accurate contact details at enrolment.
  • A seat is confirmed only after full payment is received.
  • Seats are limited and allocated on a first-paid basis.

6. Fees and payment

  • All fees are stated in Indian Rupees and are payable in advance.
  • Payments are processed through Razorpay. We do not collect or store your card details.
  • Instalment options, where available, are offered by Razorpay and its partner banks as EMI on eligible cards. Any EMI arrangement is a contract between you and your card issuer. BOLKAR receives the full programme fee at the time of purchase and is not a party to your EMI agreement.
  • Where BOLKAR has separately agreed to accept payment in instalments directly, access to sessions may be paused if a scheduled instalment is not received, and will resume once payment is made.
  • An invoice is issued automatically to every learner after payment.
  • BOLKAR is not currently registered under GST.

7. Recording of sessions

Please read this section carefully.

  • All live sessions are recorded, including video, audio, and chat.
  • Recordings capture all participants present in the session, not only the trainer.
  • Automated transcripts are generated from these recordings.
  • By joining a session, you consent to being recorded and to the generation of a transcript of the session.
  • You may keep your camera switched off and may use a display name that does not identify you. Please tell your trainer if you wish to do so.
  • You are asked not to share personal or sensitive information during sessions, as sessions are recorded.

If you are not comfortable being recorded even with your camera off, please tell us before the cohort begins.

8. How recordings and transcripts are used

  • Recordings are made available to learners who miss a session.
  • Transcripts are used to prepare individual feedback for learners.
  • Feedback is drafted with the assistance of automated tools and is reviewed by your trainer before it is sent to you.
  • Recordings and transcripts are used internally to improve programme quality and trainer performance.
  • We will not use any recording, clip, quote, or image of you in public marketing material without asking you separately and receiving your permission for that specific use.

Details on storage and retention are set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Attend sessions on time and participate actively.
  • Join with a working microphone and a stable internet connection.
  • Treat the trainer and other learners with respect.
  • Keep session links private and not share them with anyone outside your cohort.
  • Not record, download, screenshot, redistribute, or publish any session, recording, transcript, or material provided by BOLKAR.

10. Materials and intellectual property

All materials provided by BOLKAR — including session content, worksheets, vocabulary lists, practice tasks, recordings, transcripts, and feedback reports — are the property of BOLKAR. They are provided for your personal learning only. You may not copy, distribute, resell, publish, or use them for teaching or commercial purposes.

11. Attendance, missed sessions, and catch-up

  • If you miss a session, the recording of that session will be made available to you.
  • Missed sessions are not rescheduled, repeated, or refunded.
  • You cannot transfer to a different batch because of missed sessions.

12. Certificate

A certificate of completion is issued to every learner who completes the programme.

13. WhatsApp group

Each cohort has a WhatsApp group used for session links, daily practice tasks, announcements, and peer practice. Your phone number will be visible to other members of your cohort group. The group remains active after the cohort ends unless you choose to leave it.

14. Removal from a cohort

We may remove a learner from a cohort without refund if they behave disrespectfully or abusively towards the trainer or other learners, disrupt sessions repeatedly, or share BOLKAR materials or recordings in breach of these Terms.

15. No guaranteed outcome

BOLKAR provides structured practice, correction, and feedback. Progress depends on your attendance, participation, and practice. We do not guarantee any specific level of fluency, examination result, job outcome, or interview success.

16. Changes to the programme

We may change session timings, trainer allocation, content sequence, or platform where reasonably necessary. Where a change materially affects you, we will inform you in advance and, where appropriate, offer the options set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

17. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BOLKAR's total liability to you in connection with any programme is limited to the amount you paid for that programme. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for disruption caused by circumstances outside our control, including internet outages, power failures, or third-party platform failures.

18. Cancellation and refunds

See our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

19. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated.
