  • "Soft starts" — how to begin speaking even when your brain hasn't fully caught up

  • Self-introductions in 5 different framings
  • Talking about your day, your weekend, your work — out loud, without editing
  • Mirror drills and short voice-note exercises between sessions
Week 2

Structure

The goal: Stop translating. Start composing in English directly.

WHAT WE COVER

  • Tenses that matter most in workplace conversation (present perfect, future continuous, conditionals)
  • How to chain sentences using "because", "so", "however", "which means"
  • Question structures — both asking and answering

WHAT YOU'LL PRACTISE

  • Explaining a process from start to finish
  • Disagreeing politely with someone's point
  • Reframing — saying the same idea in three different ways
Week 3

Pressure

The goal: Build speaking muscles that don't collapse under stress.

WHAT WE COVER

  • Interview-style questions (behavioural, situational, technical-light)
  • Meeting language (proposing, objecting, summarising, pushing back)
  • Storytelling structure for client pitches and self-introductions

WHAT YOU'LL PRACTISE

  • Mock interviews with timed responses
  • Group debates with rotating positions
  • Rapid-fire Q&A — answering in under 5 seconds
Week 4

Confidence

The goal: Lock it in. Make speaking automatic.

WHAT WE COVER

  • Self-correction strategies (how to recover gracefully mid-sentence)
  • Tone, pace, and pause — what changes when you sound certain
  • Long-form speaking — holding a 2-minute answer without losing the thread

WHAT YOU'LL PRACTISE

  • A 90-second "tell me about yourself" you can deliver in your sleep
  • Open-floor sessions where you choose the topic
  • Final assessment: a full mock high-stakes conversation, scored and reviewed
